It is the basis for my <a href=\"https:\/\/the-knit-stitch.com\/produkt\/leaf-top\">Leaf Top<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Techniques:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You should master these basic techniques:&nbsp;<\/strong>Knit stitch \u2013 purl stitch \u2013 yarn over \u2013 cast-on \u2013 cast-off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Knit 2 together:&nbsp;<\/strong>Insert the right knitting needle into the next two stitches of the left needle&nbsp;<em>at the same time&nbsp;<\/em>and knit them as if it were one stitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Left leaning decrease:&nbsp;<\/strong>Slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit the next stitch, pass the slip stitch over the knit stitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Central double decrease:&nbsp;<\/strong>Slip two stitches&nbsp;<em>at the same time&nbsp;<\/em>from the left needle to the right needle knitwise, knit the next stitch and pass the two slip stitches over the knit stitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stitch:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"629\" height=\"471\" src=\"https:\/\/the-knit-stitch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Leaf-Stitch.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-372\" srcset=\"https:\/\/the-knit-stitch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Leaf-Stitch.png 629w, https:\/\/the-knit-stitch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Leaf-Stitch-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/the-knit-stitch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Leaf-Stitch-600x449.png 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 629px) 100vw, 629px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The stitch is repeated every 20 rows.
