The Simple Lines Sweater is a simple high neck sweater pattern knitted with sheep wool. The 2×2 rib stitch creates beautiful lines from the neck to the sleeve ribbing. The Simpe Lines Sweater has a top-down construction. That means no sewing is needed at the end. Thanks to the top-down construction, you can check the length while knitting your sweater and adjust it easily to your needs. The sweater has a rather tight fit, but you can find notes in the pattern to adapt it and make it even larger than size XL.
This pattern doesn’t use any difficult stitches. If you can knit raglan increases, this is a no brainer for you. But don’t worry, if you never used this technique before. It’s explained in the pattern.

LEVEL: Intermediate
SIZE: XS, S, M, L and XL
MEASUREMENTS: Circumference: 82, 85, 90, 95, 100 cm, length variable.
YOU WILL NEED:
- 4 and 5 mm circular needles, 4 mm double pointed needles
- E.g. 8 (XS, S), 9 (M), 10 (L), or 11 (XL) x 50g we are knitters Merifine, or a similar wool (50g = ~112m)
- An auxiliary needle
- Some stitch markers

Knit stitch – purl stitch – cast-on – cast-off.
